Funny thing is my youngest just gave me two drafting triangles as a gift yesterday. I will examine your map and my map here in Sofia more closely soon in light of these revelations. We do have a Garibaldi square not far from the triangle as far as I remember. The capless pyramid Marian temple perhaps symbolises the invisible power at the top (look at the dollar bill separate capstone)

I don't remember if you mentioned the relation Garibaldi -Bulgaria, but I found the history of it, here, in Italian:
