Chosen to damnation: an unconditionally false doctrine.

>
1 Thus saith the LORD, ....(....)....
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
 Isaiah, ch. 66.

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matthew, ch. 22.

"I called.... they chose...".

Why do you call if you have already chosen?

Why did those Hebrews choose to not answer to the call of GOD?
To believe that God predestined men to heaven or to eternal damnation, it makes out of God a liar.
It is the business of the Christians, to expose such doctrines of men.

  1. I don't think you have read into the issue, except what "baptists" say. And i say "baptists", because the baptists of yester-years, were mostly calvinists (90% or more), who are now cursed by their successors.

The reformed or calvinist position doesn't state that some were predestined to hell, but only that some are chosen for heaven and the rest "passed over". We must be careful not to be the judge of God, he doesn't owe anything to anyone, he would be perfectly just to leave all in hell, but has mercy and love. As for the rest - those who go to hell go there for their sin, which in the Pharisees manifested in the rejection of the gospel, the capital and foremost sin of unbelief, natural to all men, they simply weren't the sheep of Christ, they had no room for his word, they weren't drawn by Christ or taught by God. They were natural men, who were employed by Satan through carnal religion. Yes, men when they reject the gospel, bring damnation onto themselves, but they can do no better, because the wolves, swine etc BY NATURE will always trample the pearls, they need to be turned into sheep to OBEY and FOLLOW the Shepherd. The carnal mind is enmity to God and you can't expect people to exercise belief and repentance, the most titanic works and gifts of God. If we can produce faith in ourselves, why can't we increase it, but we must beg God for more, as the apostles and the grieving father "increase our faith" "help my unbelief" (weak faith)

    1. I see you have put a link to this post in your most recent one. I agree all protestants were persecutors in different measure, but to say calvinism was the cause of persecution is like to say the doctrine of justification of faith was the cause of persecution in Germany. Besides, as it was shown, the doctrine of election was held by the Waldenses and by Wycliffe before Calvin. Many of the baptists persecuted in USA and England were calvinists themselves.

    2. Well, it is stupid to idolise people or systems for that matter, not all of calvinism is right, but the election is a sure thing.

As for persecution, my last post deals with it (russian article- recent).

      Good night
