In The Depths Of Gaza No One Can Hear You Scream

..... I noticed two r-i-p guys, Parker, the chief engineer, and Brett, the engineering technician (Wikipedia). They were a couple in the starfreighter "Nostromo", were united and very close-knit. Parker (the black man) was the spokeperson for them both and expressed antagonism to the idea to land on LV 426 to search for possible Space castaways. They expressed their "prophecy" with their opposition to the orders of the company, to stop the travel to home in order to land in an unknown world. 

The two witnesses of Revelation 11 ?  Killed not much by the Xenomorph, but more by the Weyland-Yutani thirsty for profit :

Notice on how Park and Brett express their disappointment (testimony) for having been constrained to give their consent for the mission on LV 426. Then they are killed by the beast :

7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

As for Lt. Ripley, there's a parallel in Revelation 12 :

1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

In the film, they find a little child girl, Newt,  who lost all her family. Lt. Ripley becomes her adoptive mother.

There are several allusions to the book of Revelation and the Bible in general in the series "Alien". I don't know if it was intentional by the author, to represent Biblical events and characters in such a way. Or no one was aware of what he was doing because the truth of the Bible is stronger than any thing. In any case it is a fact worth to be reported.
