"Dear wife and dear parents and dear all I am well hurt. Hope it will be nothing. Raise children well dear Lucie. Leopold will help you if I do not get out of it. I have a crushed thigh and am alone in a shell hole. I think we will come out soon. My last thought is towards you. " (*) Source: http://dictionnaireduchemindesdames.blogspot.com/2009/01/c-comme-cros-jean-louis.htmlWell, the last thought of this man was not the motherland, but the family, his wife, his children. What a blow to the nationalism, isn't it?
This man is a picture of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, when He gave everything for the sake of His bride, the church, for the sake of everyone who surrendered to Him, surely not for the Pharisaical nation of Israel. Jesus died for the only nation a Christian is allowed to be part of, the Kingdom of God.
As Jesus was there dying alone on the Golgotha, and descended in Hell to take captive the soul of the faithful, at the same guise that dying French soldier was there in a bomb hole, bringing to us for the eternity the purest jewel from the hell of war: there's only one way it is worth to die, the one for the sake of Jesus and His bride.
During the war it happens indeed that men are divided between the love for their families and the duty toward the government. Often this is an absolute watershed which doesn't allow one to be with both sides: the last thought of dying soldiers, thanks God, is not the "motherland", but their darlings at home. Like Jesus.
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Hebrews 11:13, quoting Psalm 39:12
Crazy and mad nationalistic fanatics often went to war forgetting everything they had at home. They HAD to. When you divorce from the spouse God gave to you, and you chose another one, you have to forget totally the previous one. They forgot their true spouse, if they had one at home, their true family, children etc. All for the sake of an idea of man, because nationalism is the product of man's thought and works. (and invented by Satan).
This is why you observe in many locations of Europe, many monuments to the soldiers died in action in the Great War. Satan wants to hide that the overwhelmingly majority of them is died having in their heart, in their tears, in their mouth the name of their darlings at home, not the one of the "motherland".
"....The military memorial Redipuglia is a monumental military cemetery located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, built during the fascist era [1] and dedicated to the memory of more than 100,000 Italian soldiers died during the First World War. It is located within the municipal area of Fogliano Redipuglia in the province of Gorizia (Friuli-Venezia Giulia). [caption taken from wikipedia and used in the Amber Path blog related post of June 7th, 2014, 13th September, Jesuit pope near Trieste to launch a message on the RED LINE.]
Things then went a little different in the following Great War, the WWII. There the enemy was not simply another's government, but an idea which would have killed the proper darlings at home. Nazi would transform the Russians in slaves. Italian nationalist harassed the families of Slovenian soldiers at home because they were not Italians. In the WWII there were not those episodes of mutinies caused by a revolutionary or pacifist rebellion, and sometimes even of exchange of Christmas wishes between opposite fronts, as happened in the Great War 1914 - 1918. Notwithstanding also in WWII the great majority of soldiers and rebels (partisans) died with their last thought for their darlings at home.
The nationalists of today, as in Italy mr Matteo Salvini and his ally Giorgia Meloni, are again building the idol of the nation. It is not of God, because it need to be borne by man's works:
They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jeremiah 10:5--------------------------------------------

I have a booklet (no doubt copied from Russian and German imperialist booklets) "advice for the bulgarian soldier" that says that "an unchanging and limitless love, burning like a fire and shining like the sun, must boil in your chest until your last breath". Well, if that is not idolatry and an unnatural affection, i dont know what is.
ReplyDeleteRecently found out my wife's cousin is heavily involved in anti immigration groups. It is spreading and who knows how things will be in another 4-5 years. Heathens rage, as the psalm says.
As I said, God created the nations, the Devil immediately grasped the idea and invented the nationalism. For this reason until the end of this world comes, we ll never be able to get rid of the nationalism, which is the idolatry of the nation.
DeleteBut this world extreme right nationalism can be an opportunity to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Thanks the rising global Fascism, I finally realized the materialistic envelope where the typical American evangelism lives. I was opposing your opinion, I ended in doing out of it also a part of my opinion.
US missionary army unfortunately are too much imbued by a secular ideology of the Great America, to be able to realize how much they misuse the Bible as a veil for their desire of political national grandeur. The measure is given by the intensity with which they use every possible passage of the Holy Writ as a blessing for the most authoritarian and militaristic expression of their government. Blind to their own proper hypocrisy, they don't realize that their nation is borne just from the denial of that biblical principle of the holiness of the government as expression of divine will (American revolution against the British crown) . Today a man with the mouth full of bitterness and filthiness is transformed by their dreams of worldly glory in a man "invested by God's mandate" (mr Trump if you didn't understand).
I am really thinking if those plagues so hated by the "conservative" US evangelicals, as sodomy or abortion the Obama administration was proud to defend, are just sent by God as stumbling block for the nationalistic "fundamentalist" of America who exhibit an exterior sinless behaviour as an hypocritical appearance. Like that Pharisee in Luke ch. 18 comparing himself with a publican.
The other dark side to be hidden you know it very well, it comes at the light of the day under the shape of an intense hatred or despise the "conservatives" supporting mr Trump throw against what they call "the social Gospel". Their attachment to the material wealth is so strong that they cannot conceive the poverty in the world if not in the terms of a "trial" or "punishment" towards those people who recall to them that their nationalistic feet are made of clay:
Job 12:6 - - - - - > The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
But you are the one that can judge my words, being I an opponent of what you were telling since long time.
Its ok bro, I made many errors in my doctrine and behaviour and was too pushy. I see now that you have come to the same conclusions. I can understand how difficult it is to be disappointed after being alone (in the faith) for so long. To be perfectly honest, this realization didnt at first come from a honest reading of the Scriptures, but from various impressions: from my irritation with several american missionaries; from reading books called "Anatomy of a hybrid" and "The Reformers and Their Stepchildren" (By Leonard Verduin) and a blog called the pilgrim underground; from several talks with muslims who were so bitter about america that even beginning to talk about the gospel was difficult..... After a while i realized that the national character of evangelism is what destroys the gospel and closes all doors. Sure, the RCC also hates extreme nationalism, for it stands in its way of an universal holy government. But in the end the kingdom of God is inclusive and the thinly veiled chauvinism of some americans is as far away from the kingdom as is the Devil. This was the error of the Jews who considered outward symbols holy and blood and creed the only measure and entrance of the Kingdom. The tenor of the entire NT is against sacralism. From constantine onward, including the reformers and puritans who founded the US, the chief error that has destroyed the spirituality of peoples is merging the Heavenly with the earthly.
Delete"The other dark side to be hidden you know it very well, it comes at the light of the day under the shape of an intense hatred or despise the "conservatives" supporting mr Trump throw against what they call "the social Gospel"."
DeleteOf course, and you can clearly see how they will all end. They have rejected (along with Europeans) the definition of "neighbor" and have desired only their own glory and prosperity.
Proverbs 21:10
The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
Proverbs 10:28
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
Deuteronomy 23:6
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
The end of the Reformation is at hand. And no matter how much they try to escape it, the american evangelicals, even the "independent" (and how deep inside the reformation's sacralism they are for all their pretensions of independence, it is obvious to see) baptists will crumble when things get heated up. This is rank hypocrisy - the land of the free and independent has turned to the most stereotypical and rigidly earthly kingdom there is.... But the Devil has promised them freedom and "rights" (a non-biblical concept). Now you understand why the Mary loving hyper-catholic Mel Gibson enjoyed the "patriot" movie so much. The insidious influence and social engineering of the jesuits will soon bear fruit. They will drown with the new titanics (hitlers), whoever those may be. And that will be the perfect time for the Whore to "shine" and bring peace and relief to the world. This is the final plan, for the age of Mary, I believe, and i think we are seeing the early stage of the unfolding of it.
Here are links to the books. I dont agree with everything 100%, but the main conclusions are sound.

DeleteYou quoted Hebrews. Well, here is another excellent quote from an article on the site:
Delete"It is no wonder that next to Revelation the book of Hebrews is probably the most misunderstood and neglected book of the New Testament. It utterly lays waste to the assumptions of both Dominionism, Dispensationalism and the Easy-Believist intellectual and solely forensic focus when it comes to saving faith and the doctrine of salvation. Though the New Testament as a whole is at odds with the Evangelical spectrum, the book of Hebrews in particular is its bane."
In

it is evident that the world after the ascension of the Lord is deemed to be the Kingdom of God on earth, ruled by a vicarious (the pope) or more vicarious (the princes and kings of the Protestant world). This is why the Institutional Christianity (social church etc.) has been obsessively pursued by the ones who believed they were and are already living in a sort of Kingdom of God, and are invested by the Lord to repress any kind of 'dissent'.
Unfortunately (for them) they cannot clean this 'kingdom of God' from evil, as everyone can check when seeing the evilness of this world, therefore they found a way to get rid of the contradiction. They simply transformed the evil things in this world in an "ally" that God allowed them to use for His "high purposes".
Nationalism of today is one of this allies they claim they have been allowed by God to use for the good of the Institutionalized Cristianity. Another is wealth or a certain legitimation of the pursue of the material gain. This passage on the Donatists is the best among the part of that page I could read until now:
".......It may be pointed out however that there was one word in the Apostles' Creed at which the "heretics" balked, the word "catholic" in the article dealing with the Church. This word they could not and did not utter. This is not surprising. The word "catholic" is derived from the Greek kata (meaning "according to") and halos (meaning "the entirety"); the combination means then "according to the entirety" and fits into the language of "Christian sacralism." It is therefore not surprising that the "heretics" avoided it. For them the Church was not "according to the entirety" but consisted of the believing element only...........".
The image of the Kingdom of God, where "all are happy worshiper" of the Lord, where there's no room for the Devil's work, has been forced upon this present sad world, which caused a sudden breaking apart of that happy image. Physical force and violence have been added in an enormous quantity to try to keep that image united. That "few will be saved" is the red line to get out that theological trap.
Delete"Sure, the RCC also hates extreme nationalism, for it stands in its way of an universal holy government. "
DeleteThe fake anti-sacralism of Bergoglio is exposed at the light of the day, when the Jesuit pope goes to Nagasaki (or Hiroshima) to mourn on the "use of the nuclear weapons". He plead for the abolition of the nuclear weapons, and doing that he exhibit his hypocrisy.
He didn't condemn the Japanese mass killings in WWII to the other Asian countries.
".....Dispensationalism and the Easy-Believist intellectual and solely forensic focus when it comes to saving faith and the doctrine of salvation.......".
DeleteBro, I know one thing. That they claim for themselves a special status divinely appointed, where God has never provided any for them.
Bro, if they have to be coherent with dispensationalism and especially futurism of the pre Mil rapture, they should become the greatest 'homeless' of the world, being their disdain focused against their the same national pride and wealth.
If you wait to be raptured from the next 5 mins until a minute before to go to the grave, you cannot feel any attraction for this world, for the nationalistic spirit, even less for the material success and safety no matter how you justify it with an interpretation of the Bible in "attorney-style".
Therefore they act and talk at the opposite of what they the same are preaching and those plagues flagellating their country (sodomy, abortion, etc.) could well be a warning from above.

Delete"......Jeroboam was a Sacralist, one who wished to sanctify his kingdom... though he had no claim to do so. ......"
DeleteYea, this fit with the "mandate of God for Trump" 's theology. But also with most of nationalistic movements and idea today in full resurgency. In Italy the opposition parties (who would win the election because poll says majority of Italian support them) are openly claiming "God, motherland & family". In Italy they call themselves "sovranisti", from sovereignty, the ones pursuing it. They avoid the traditional term "nationalists", I feel "sacralists" is the right label.
Nice:
Delete"........America is historically ironic just as 'Christian' Rome was. People freed themselves from tyranny and empire but within a generation forgot all the lessons and went about creating a new form of the same creature which previously persecuted them. The difference? The Christians in Rome 'won' by suffering and then lost to the Babel Impulse. The 'Christians' in America took up arms, won through violence, and never looked back........"
very well
Delete".....Today we're taught that previous generations had a more Biblical Worldview. It's simply not true. Everyone was a ‘Christian’ but very few were really thinking about things in terms of what the Bible said. Everyone pretty much went along with the cultural norms. The same is largely true today........"

This is the precise reason i dissociated myself from calvinists. Calvinists are turbo-sacralists (see Calvin's utopia, Cromwell etc). They talk of election of a few in Christ, but they want to transform entire society according to OT conventions, and claim it is God's will (how do they know his hidden counsel?)that we establish godly governments. Really baffles the mind how someone can contradict themselves so much.
"They avoid the traditional term "nationalists", I feel "sacralists" is the right label."
DeleteFor sure. There ALWAYS is a deeper, spiritual impulse to things.

Seven mountains, huh, maybe the seven hills, if you apply early....
This comes up as the inspiration for that belief:

A really sinister quote from the book "everything in the book is an overflow of what Johnny has found in moments with his Papa"....Rabid dreams of false prophets...
You see how they use the OT to sort of export ancient israel narratives into modern heathen times. Again, from the blog:
"The Church is taken off course into a struggle not for spiritual truth and the Kingdom of Heaven but for the mastery of the Earth. The ironic and even tragic end result is that the world transforms the Church and the Church that stands in a position of cultural and political power and believes itself victorious is in fact revealed to be a counterfeit, a pseudo-Zion as it were. Once again I quote Meredith Kline:
"Latent in the Apocalyptic symbolism is an even more direct contradiction of dominion theology's postmillennial eschatology. The melding of church with the state and its coercive power, the arrangement which theonomic reconstructionism regards as the kingdom ideal to be attained during the millennium, is precisely what is anathematized in the Apocalypse as the harlot-Babylon church, the monstrous perversion of the true church.""
But of course! The book interprets the woman of Revelation 17 to be godless aspects of the world system... That is what Johnny Enlow has learned from his "Papa"... not the Heavenly Father, but the Papa
Deletethis article goes a little more in depth into the sacralist 7 mountains theology..... it touches on post-millenialism, which is held by most theonomist calvinists, and its implications (thats a whole different topic for discussion)

Some INC people describe Trump as a King Cyrus figure—he’s not one of us, but God is using him to defeat our enemies and restore our nation. If Trump collapses or gets impeached, they will not look very good. Some of them have staked their reputation on Trump’s performance, but not all of them.
They don’t have policy goals, other than anti-abortion and anti-gay-marriage sentiments. They don’t have an idea of what it takes to reduce poverty or curb international conflict. None of that is even on their radar.
It’s a very different approach than other religious groups take. If it’s the Catholic Church, the religious right, or the religious left, they actually have a strategy. They have think-tanks and organizations, and they’re involved at different levels with political parties. This is nothing like that.
Flory: In some ways, it’s a really romantic vision. For most of the 20th century, most Pentecostals and evangelicals were pre-millennial—they imagined that God’s reign would appear in full only after the second coming of Christ. But the INC movement is explicitly post-millennial. In their minds, God’s kingdom can come to earth before Christ returns—and, by the way, it will be in America. There is this interesting combination of America first, Americans as God’s chosen people, and a romantic vision of God working it out through the people he chooses.
But they do seem different than the prosperity gospel preachers, in that wealth isn’t flaunted.
Christerson: Peter Wagner talked about the differences between the two groups. He said that the prosperity gospel thought that money was a blessing for the sake of blessing. For his own New Apostolic Reformed movement, the prosperity comes from God in order to transform the world for God.
Interestingly, INC leaders think that the business world is the key to all of this—because wealth is more powerful than all other forms of power. They anticipate this huge transfer of wealth to believers. But they see this wealth as an instrument for bringing about God’s kingdom on earth.
For prosperity preacher, it’s more that God is going to bless me individually to show me favor and to show that he is God. We didn’t get that from the INC leaders. They dress casually and don’t drive expansive cars or fly in their own planes.
Christerson: They are super down-to-earth. And there isn’t the angry edge we’ve seen from certain religious-right activists or the more traditional pre-millennial dispensationalists who want to fight evil. For these guys, God’s taking over the world, and they are just riding the wave.
When i first set out as a christian, i didnt suspect how many things people need to be saved from. But most people never move on from the discussions of salvific dogma to the just as important question of "is this from God" or "what is the kingdom of God"?
